The world came to know and love Saleh through his activism, his voice, his journalism, and his extraordinary courage, and for many, our introduction to him came during the genocide.
But Saleh was far more than a journalist. He was a dreamer. Before the genocide, he was building his YouTube channel, had memorized the entire Quran, sang at events and recorded nasheed, and was a ranked table tennis player in Gaza.
